Hope Campbell

15-year-old freshman.

Her piece was created in art class when she was asked to incorporate an origami bird into a still-life drawing using shading techniques with charcoal for a 3D effect. “I felt that Hope did a very nice job using her space and making her objects look 3-D,” said Brown. Campbell said she loves the accomplished feeling she gets when finishing an art piece. “Even better is when you get praised for your artwork. It’s seriously the best feeling, and it raises my self esteem so much,” said Campbell.
