DECA State Leadership Conference

This week seven FHS students will compete in the Virginia DECA State Leadership Conference.
The FHS DECA chapter members including sophomores Erin Irvin and Ethan Brown and juniors Catherine Smith, Jonas Reutzal, Julia Karns, Trevor Lawson and Rachel Rohrbaugh will compete at the State Leadership Conference (SLC) from March 3 to 7. Normally taking place at Virginia Beach, this year due to COVID-19 all competitors will compete virtually from their homes on the DECA competition platform. This week will consist of leadership sessions and individual role-play events. They chose to take the DECA State Exam on either February 16 or 17. Due to the online platform results will be given on Thursday, March 11 at the award ceremony.
