Warrenton’s Point-to-Point Races
The Warrenton Hunt will be holding their Point-to-Point race on March 13 and 28, upholding a two-hundred-year-old sport.
Established in England in 1887, Point-to-Point is a horse race for amateur and hunt riders. Warrenton is having their first Point-to-Point at the Airlie race course on March 13 and their second Point-to-Point March 28 at 1:00 p.m. This will be the 80th race at the course. The Point-to-Point includes 10 races: 3 hurdle, 3 timber, 3 flat and 1 flat side saddle. Hunt masters are John Wyatt, Celeste Burns Vella and Katharine J Atkins. There are no spectators allowed.
