In the Northwestern District season finale the Boys basketball team lost a heartbreaking game against James Wood, in a battle for the sixth seed in the playoffs. FHS led by 3 with 10 seconds left but would go on to lose 78-77 in dramatic fashion. The boys now will face second seed Sherando, on Friday night in the Northwestern district playoffs. On the girls’ side, FHS lost 72-40 to James Wood. After the loss, the fourth seeded girls basketball team will host fifth seeded Kettle Run on Friday.
