Personal finance simulates real life economies

Chipman class — Karen Chipman’s Personal Finance class simulates real world economies. The students were given market, traditional , and command economies and were given instructions on how they would make their product and where the money goes. Junior Ben Sampson’s team was given a command economy. “We all have specific jobs and specific number of bracelets we have to make,”Sampson said. “And then we don’t get any of the money.”
