If there was a class to learn skills that could be used in nearly every business profession, FHS’s new teacher Keely Scott would teach it. Scott teaches keyboarding and computer information systems, which explores Microsoft Office applications. Scott said, “These courses are very valuable skills…because in the business world people use Microsoft Office; they don’t use Google.”

She studied business in college, but then decided to teach what she loved. Scott described herself as an outdoorsy person, and loves to “go fishing, walking, hammock, and camp.” Her favorite place to camp is Shenandoah National Park, in a hammock, of course. She is loving FHS so far and said, “All the staff and students are welcoming and are eager to make this year a great one!”
