Jamie Frowen

Jamie Frowen’s love for numbers has brought her to her next endeavor, teaching at FHS. Frowen has lived in Warrenton for the past six years. She decided to become a teacher after working at an office for eight years and starting her own family. “I love working with numbers, but I also want to work with kids and help them learn,” said Frowen.
She worked as a Special Education (SPED) Instructional Assistant (IA) in Fauquier County for the past three years. For the last year and a half as an IA, she worked on her Master’s in Special Education. This year, Frowen will be teaching Algebra I, Geometry and Algebraic Function and Data Analysis (AFDA).
When she is not working, Frowen loves to be with her family. She is the youngest of three and has two children of her own. “They keep me smiling and wanting to be the best person I can be,” said Frowen. Her favorite local place to eat is Denim and Pearls in Old Town Warrenton. She likes watching movies but her number one choice is “Good Will Hunting”.
She also likes to travel and meet new people.“My love of seeing new places began after college when my best friend and I backpacked around Europe for two months,” said Frowen. Her main goal in life is “to be happy and successful in doing what I love.” This year, Frowen plans to bring a fun learning experience into the classroom. “If you put in the effort, good things will follow”, said Frowen
