Q: How long have you been playing golf?
A: ¨I’ve been playing golf for a good bit of my life, but I’ve been doing it seriously for almost three years now.

Q: Why did you decide to golf?
A: ¨I grew up watching golf with my dad. Watching guys like Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson were awesome, and golf is a different kind of sport than baseball and football.¨

Q: What is your favorite part about playing golf?
A: For the high school matches, I just like being out there and playing my game. The good stuff though is just playing for fun with my family and friends.

Q: How would you describe the team?
A: The team has a great atmosphere and support. Having great teammates can only help.

Q: What is your biggest goal?
A: My goal is to win the individual district title next season.

Q: Do you want to golf in college, and do you have any schools you’re interested in?
A: I haven’t really thought about college golf. I’ve got to think about life after college too, and I’m not sure where golf stands in that at the moment.

Q: Who is your biggest role model in the sport?
A: My biggest role model in golf is my teacher, David Oates at Shenandoah Valley Golf Club. We’ve been working on my game for a while and seeing it pay off in the district tournament.
