Competition Cheer Season Springs into Action
Last Saturday Fauquier High School (FHS) hosted the first Competition Cheer meet of the season. FHS placed fourth with a legality penalty in a stunt. The competition consisted of level three teams; Brentsville, Culpeper, Warren County, Skyline, George Mason and Central Wood and level four teams; Fauquier, Kettle Run, Sherando, Millbrook, Jameswood and John Handley. Due to COVID-19 restrictions teams were only given a month to prepare for this season, instead of their usual Summer and Fall practice time.
