The FHS Falcon Cafe is recognizing National Nutrition Month by offering a prize for stopping by for breakfast and lunch.

This year the FHS Falcon Café is offering students a chance to win a Bluetooth speaker, throughout this month, in honor of National Nutrition Month. Each student will receive a card to enter the drawing up to three times per day, entering the grab-and-go line, breakfast line and lunch line. Each card must include the student’s first and last name and answer the question on the back. There will be a prize for both AA and BB day kids.
The month of March is used as a campaign to educate about nutrition and “focuses on the importance of making informed food choices and developing sound eating and physical activity habits.” ( The Eat Right Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics initiated this awareness message in 1973 as a week-long celebration. It was “a way to deliver nutrition education messages to the public while promoting the profession of dietetics.” ( In 1980, as public interest grew, they expanded the campaign to last an entire month.
