Fauquier High School (FHS) is set to be getting a new assistant principal summer 2025. One Nick Brousse is thrilled to be a part of FHS faculty and staff alongside Principal Dr. David Ferguson, Assistant Principal Colleen Robson and Assistant Principal Diana Story. Brousse cannot wait for the school year to begin and to be a part of the Falcon community.
Originally from New Orleans and brought up in Carlisle, Pa., Brousse attended Carlisle High School and went to Shippensburg University for a degree in Political Science. He worked as a Congressional Staffer in Washington D.C. His passion for history led him to join the social studies department at James Monroe High School and start teaching. “I taught World History II, AP Human Geography and Government. You have to be informed and engaged to be a part of your community—or anything more significant than yourself—and social studies is a fantastic way to achieve that,” said Brousse. Outside of work and school, Brousse enjoys fly fishing, track and field and listening to podcasts.
Brousse is very proud to be a new addition to FHS, saying, “FHS is truly a special place. The values of the Falcon school community align with mine. The unmatched academic results are due to work ethic, discipline and drive to be great. Who wouldn’t want to be a part of this?” With Brousse joining Ferguson, Robson and Story, he ensures FHS that every plan or idea he brings to the table will serve two priorities: student safety and student education.
Brousse will be joining FHS this coming summer, with hopes of being a great new addition to our school.
