“Avatar: The Way Of Water” is a captivating new blockbuster that brings a vivid aquatic region to life in ways that have never been seen before.

“Avatar” took the cinematic world by storm in 2009, and it became the top grossing movie of all time, and it still is today. At the end of last year, its long awaited sequel, “Avatar: The Way of The Water,” was finally released. It technically took 13 years to complete, but the actual production didn’t start until 2017, which means it took 5 years to make. But the real question here is if the new sequel truly lives up to the expectations that its forerunner has set, or if it was simply a huge waste of time and money. The answer to this burning question is that yes, it completely toppled everyone’s expectations with its stunning computer graphics, breathtaking new ocean regions, and an enthralling and highly emotional story with a great message about family that captivates the viewer.

One of the last battles in “Avatar: The Way of The Water” in which the humans and the Na’vi race engage in shows combat that was simply breathtaking. The action-packed battle was filled with incredible maneuvers and warfare. Also, the Na’vi race is just simply so realistic that the viewer can barely tell that it’s all computer-generated images. There are only a few things that brought this movie down, including the long scenes that are lacking excitement and are uninteresting, and the somewhat basic and poorly written dialogue that lacks depth and intelligence. However, nevertheless, it’s still an awe-inspiring masterpiece of cinematography.

In order to explain the basic plot of “Avatar: the Way of the Water,” the events of the original film must be discussed as well. “Avatar” told the story of a marine named Jake Sully, and how he came to the moon of Pandora on a special mission with a government organization called the Resources Development Administration (RDA) from the US. He is mentally linked to what is called an ‘avatar’ during his special mission, which is a body that resembles the moon’s natives, a species called the Na’vi. He is sent to live among them, and he learns their ways and eventually turns on the US and helps the Na’vi protect their world.

“Avatar: The Way of The Water” is set 15 years after the events of the first film, and Jake now has kids. Unfortunately, the humans return to Pandora once more and disturb Pandora’s short-lived reign of peace. In order to protect his family, he makes the hard choice of evacuating and relocating somewhere else. Many people around the globe are rushing to the theaters to experience this incredible movie before it’s gone from the big screens.
