Senior Deanna Rowley is a one of a kind artist at FHS, and has some amazing talents that everyone can see. She started out as an artist at a young age, and then slowly progressed to harder art pieces. “I’ve been drawing since I was a kid I think, so I’ve just [always] kinda enjoyed it…. My mom is really good at art and that pushed me too. She’s always been creative and inspired me,” said Rowley.
Rowley likes art because you can “put your feelings on paper and express yourself.” Expressing yourself in artwork can be so inspiring to others and it really shows what the artist is thinking and feeling.
Rowely stated she’s done paintings such as “mochi paintings, I did a painting of Deja Vu last semester that I really liked.” She has a variety of different tools that she uses to create her artwork, though “most of them are acrylic or oil,” she added. Some of her favorite types of artwork are “more realistic paintings, so when I use things like acrylic or oil it’s a lot easier to get those intense detailing in there,” Rowley explained.
Rowely is an amazing artist with some amazing pieces to come. She loves to be creative with her work and does so many paintings around town. The way Rowely expresses herself on paper means viewers can really see what she is thinking and feeling. She proudly puts a lot of details into her artwork and likes to be inspired as an artist.
