Winter is approaching which means the winter fashion is back! As we move from fall styles to winter, we have to start adjusting our attire to fit the colder days. The winter fashion trends consist of the same cute clothing, but some new pieces will be popular this year.

The first popular item this winter is long tailored coats. This outerwear is great for keeping anyone warm during the winter. A perk about this coat is that because it is long, it keeps your legs warm as well as your upper body! This piece of clothing can be styled in multiple different ways. If you wanted to go for a more casual style, you could wear this coat over a pair of jeans and a blouse. If you are looking for a fancier look, you could wear dress pants or a dress. Long coats are all about layering. You could style this piece with a turtleneck or polo shirt. However you decide to style this coat, you will certainly be warm and cozy while still being trendy!

Another piece to keep you warm this winter would be a big oversized scarf! Big scarves are very easy to style because they can go with anything. They are perfect for keeping you warm while in the chilly weather. There are many different ways to tie a scarf. You could tie it as an infinity scarf, wear it as a shawl, or just as one loop. Scarves go with any piece of clothing! It can be paired with a mini skirt and blouse or leggings and sweater. Although scarves have been on and off in the fashion industry, they will definitely be a popular accessory.

The next trendy item for this winter is dark denim. This is a pretty broad category, as denim can be worn in multiple different ways. The dark color is more popular in the cooler months, as it looks cleaner and more sophisticated. It also contrasts well with the weather when it is gray and gloomy. We mostly see the light denim towards the spring and summer, as it is a brighter color for those brighter months. Dark denim can go well with multiple different items, but it is most common to see dark denim with colors such as: white, gray and beige. Dark denim can be worn in a casual way or it can be dressed up too. Whether you decide to wear dark denim in a fancy way or a casual way, you will definitely be in style this winter!

The last trend is business casual. Although this style isn’t completely new to the fashion world, it will definitely be seen more this winter. Business casual doesn’t always have to be associated with work. It can be worn as an everyday style! It includes a nice pair of jeans, blouses, sweaters, skirts, and a nice jacket. Business casual is very easy to style and will be seen a lot this winter season.
