Freedom Riders visit FHS
As the parking lot filled with motorcycles, ridden by veterans of the local American Legion, students gathered along the front of the building to thank veterans for their service. The veterans were welcomed by the band and choir, and followed with a speech to thank the students for all of the support. The dude.be nice initiative created an assortment of posters that were passed out to students to hold, along with NHS, who provided over 2,000 cards for the veterans to pass on.
