Va Governor Ralph Northam called in the Va National Guard and 200 Va State Troopers to respond to D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser’s request in Washington, D.C.

Virginia (Va) Governor Ralph Northam sent members of the Va National Guard and 200 Va State Troopers to the District of Columbia (D.C.) in response to the Pro-Trump riots today. D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser requested the extra support around 3 p.m.
At 5 p.m. Northam set a curfew for Alexandria and Arlington juridictions from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. He also placed Va in a State of Emergency due to lack of police support in various areas.
Around 7 p.m. Prince William County police responded to a shooting in Signal Hill, Manassas. There were also two helicopters for medivac and a Fairfax County police helicopter called in to search for the suspect.
