“Keeping Up with the Kardashians” Comes to a Close
After 14 incredible years and 20 dramatic seasons, television show Keeping Up with the Kardashians will end after airing its last season in early 2021. The family released a statement on September 7 saying, “It is with heavy hearts that we’ve made the difficult decision as a family to say goodbye to Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” The statement goes on to say how thankful the family is to all the supporters for watching and contributing to the show over the years.
The news has left viewers heartbroken, including me. Keeping Up with the Kardashians was the show that I always binged on a rainy Saturday. One of my favorite things about this show is that the family doesn’t sugar coat anything. They tell us things as they are. We can relate to them on certain levels. Sometimes when we see our favorite celebrities going through something that we are going through. It makes us feel better, like we’re not alone.
This sudden decision has left fans wondering what the cause of this heartbreaking decision was. Fans started various rumors concerning the abrupt end, including Tik Tok sensation and family friend Addison Rae getting her own reality show.
We’ve kept up with the Kardashians every Sunday for the past 14 years, from Kim losing her diamond earrings in the ocean to the creation of the next generation of the Kardashian family.
Keeping up with the Kardashians has been a staple in the reality television community for the past decade. If we look past some of the petty things on the show, we can really learn things from the Kardashians. We will be forever grateful for the Kardashian/Jenner family. Thank you Kris, Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Rob, Kendall, Kylie, and Scott for keeping us entertained all these years.
