Vending machines here at FHS are a problem. Having vending machines is supposed to be a way for students to get snacks throughout the day, but FHS closes them for most of the day and during lunch. If students can’t use the vending machines throughout the day FHS needs to get rid of them.
Getting rid of vending machines would be beneficial for the school because students can’t use them during the day anyways, especially during lunch. Going during class time is disruptive because that’s the teacher’s time for instruction. Going in between bells would be ideal, but students would be late to class.
Eating snacks out of the vending machines is unhealthy for students. The snacks that the machine provides are unhealthy and don’t have any nutritional value. Therefore, these snacks will not give students energy and will impact them negatively for the rest of the day. The vending machines should be stocked with healthier foods, so that students are less likely to go to the vending machines.
The vending machines have become a problem in the halls by distracting teachers from instruction, especially since many classrooms are near them. The vending machines are causing distractions throughout other parts of the school as well. Students talk in the hall while using the vending machines, and the noise of the machine is distracting to teachers giving instruction throughout the annex. Vending Machines need to be taken away for good.

Yes the vending machines at FHS are Useless, but not everyone likes healthy foods, Yes it would be a healthier option for all FHS students, But most of the Student body would be crying over how they miss the Cheetos in the Machine and not the healthy snacks.
