The “Kindness Month Spirit Week” will be bursting with color.

On Feb. 12 through 17, FHS will have a kindness-themed spirit week, so start outfit planning now! SCA sponsor Michelle Green explained, “We got a notification from central office, and student services wanted to promote February as a kindness month…” On top of spirit week, Green mentioned there will be smaller happenings throughout the month, such as the distribution of hearts with motivational messages, and thanking people in the community who keep us safe.

Monday will be “Kindness Color Day,” on which students should wear green, yellow, blue and red. The green will symbolize gratitude, yellow will symbolize a positive attitude and mindset, blue will symbolize helpfulness and red will symbolize doing acts of kindness for friends, family or anyone else. Tuesday will be “Tye Dye Day.” Students should wear tie dyed clothes to represent peace, love and kindness. Wednesday’s “Have a Heart for Kindness Day” should bring an explosion of red and pink colored clothing to the school. Thursday will be “Kindness Shines Day, students should wear neon, glittery, sequins, or anything shiny and bright to be proud of kindness. Last but not least, Friday is “Team Up For Kindness Day.” Students and staff should show their Falcon pride by wearing any FHS apparel (teams, clubs, music, etc.) or simply FHS colors.
