The Open Box discount store recently opened in the Warrenton Towne Centre. It is owned by two friends, Brittany Davis and Brandy Edwards. The store consists of many different wooden boxes filled with overstock and returned merchandise at really low prices. Customers can go in and start “digging” through the bins to find the best deals.
There are great deals on all kinds of merchandise: clothes, shoes, toys, kitchen gadgets, home decor, different electronics and so much more. Everything is organized by field, and every field has its own box. In the box, all the products are in a pile, so people search and dig to find the items that they need.
The store has an interesting pricing system, where everything in the bins has the same price. It makes the shopping experience really easy. Customers don’t have to worry about whether they can afford the product or not since everything costs the same. The price starts at $15 on Fridays and decreases daily by a few dollars, ending at 1$ on Wednesdays. On Thursdays, the store restocks, and everything is $15 again the next day. Enthusiasts show up there on Friday mornings to be the first ones to dig through all the new stuff and find the best deals.
To avoid misunderstandings, there are “test stations” around the store to check if the electronics work properly. This is a helpful addition, as customers can be sure about their purchase since the store doesn’t have a return policy.
The store is a good place to find everyday necessities for really cheap prices. It’s also helpful for people who can’t afford many expensive items. Some things can be found that originally cost over $30, and if customers show up at the right time, they can get it for $5 or less.
