Ariana Grande’s “Eternal Sunshine” album was very upbeat with lots of amazing vocal runs and lyrics of gold.

Ariana Grande is easily among the best artists out there, with a huge vocal range and legendary whistle notes. Her new album, “Eternal Sunshine,” was released on March 8, 2024. This new album excited many of her fans, often referred to as “Arianators.” Her album has the songs called “intro (end of the world),” “bye,” “don’t wanna break up again,” “Saturn Returns Interlude,” “eternal sunshine,” “supernatural,” “true story,” “the boy is mine,” “yes, and?,” “we can’t be friends (wait for your love),” “i wish i hated you,” “imperfect for you” and “ordinary things (feat. Nonna).”

This album tells the story of Ariana’s life throughout the past year. She has overcome so many obstacles with the press and her new relationship with Ethan Slater. Slater and Grande had similar experiences both separating from their partners around the same time. They were then reported to be dating a few days after Grande announced her separation with Dalton Gomez. This album deals with all of these themes, and more.

This album as a whole was a stellar listen. The songs were very catchy and they all had fun, complex tunes. The song “we can’t be friends (wait for your love)” explores Ariana’s relationship with the press. She is saying that no matter what she does, someone might be upset and that she can’t please everyone. The lyrics came in with a strong message about the press while she went about the song with a fun upbeat tune to display that she was herself and that no matter what decisions she makes, someone in the press will be upset.

Ariana Grande also dueted two of the songs on her album including “yes, and?” with Mariah Carey and “Supernatural” with Troye Sivan. While “yes, and?” was done extremely well, they could have been more impressive vocally as Ariana Grande and Mariah Carey are both insanely talented singers, but the song is still quite catchy. However, the duet with Troye Sivan was amazing. It was very upbeat and fun with beautiful vocals and a catchy tune.

A song on the album that was widely considered a fan favorite was “i wish i hated you.” This song was discussing how Ariana wished there was more of a reason for her divorce with Dalton Gomez. The song had a great tune to it with beautiful lyrics. Grande was once again able to prove how vocally talented she is.

Another hit song was “bye,” about the beginning of her break up with Dalton Gomez. The song was soft with vocal riffs and it was easy to see Grande’s true vocal talent. She was able to send the break up message through with a beautiful song.

Overall, Ariana Grande’s new album was really good and is something to definitely recommend. With stellar lyrics, vocals and emotion, this album is among her best.
