Q. How do you think women impact the school setting?
omen are an integral part of raising children, so I think their role is critical in a school setting. A woman tends to be more understanding and can add a great deal to the discussion on young minds. An ideal setting is when we have a good mix of both male and female role models.

Q. What does Women’s History Month mean to you?
It is a great way to remember those that stood up for women and showed the great things women did to change the course of history. Women have done amazing things and should be applauded for it.

Q. If you could give young women any advice what would it be?
Always be true to yourself, and find people who value you for who you are. Always surround yourself with those type of people, and avoid anyone who makes you feel less.

Q. What do you think the future looks like for feminism/women’s rights in the workforce and in general?
I think women have made great strides over the last century. I believe that gone are the days when women did the same job as a man and got paid less, or that they were limited in how far up they can go in a company. I believe women are well on their way to be seen as equal in the eyes of society overall.
