Gillian Hall has some of the most interesting fashion styles here at FHS. Across the school, there are many students who stand out among others, and Hall is one of them. She constantly has exciting and unique outfits to show off, consisting of patched skirts, sweaters with fun designs and nice shoes to pull it all together. Hall said, “I got my style from my grandmother, she dressed me when I was younger.”
There are some common fashion trends among students, such as wearing pajama pants to school. However, Hall expressed how she doesn’t like the look of this trend. Having any kind of style takes time and thought, with which she certainly plans her outfits. Hall shared, “I pick out my outfits every Sunday, but in the morning it actually only takes about 15 minutes… It just kind of comes to me.”
There is also quite a bit of meaning behind what she wears. “Sometimes they reflect how I’m feeling [during] the day… I like to think of my style [as a] way to express myself,” she stated. She matches her accessories to her outfits, such as pairing them with a good belt or necklace to complete the look. Hall shares that a necklace is her favorite accessory.
Hall says she enjoys both shopping in person and online for clothes. As she explained, “I don’t really have a favorite store, I just like to go in and look around.” Hall is very happy to show off her style and share it with everyone around her.
