Boys and Girls Varsity Basketball Split Against Liberty
Lady Falcons defeat Liberty 43-34
On Monday, the Lady Falcons defeated Liberty 43-34 after trailing at halftime. After half time the Lady Falcons took over the game and secured the victory on home court. As for the Fauquier boys basketball team, they lost a hard fought battle on the road against Liberty by the score of 63-46. The Falcons kept the game close at times but as the game went on Liberty pulled away to get the victory on home court.
Looking ahead on January 25 the boys host Handley at home looking to gain some momentum. As for the girls, they will travel to Handley to face the Judges looking for consecutive wins.
