The anime series “One Piece” has been out since 1997, and it is still having new episodes coming out in 2024. “One Piece” is one of the best anime ever released, and it also is currently the longest anime series, with a whopping 1089 episodes. Even though it has been out for almost four decades, it is still not boring and continues to include original content. The most recent arc in the series, “Wano,” is a perfect example of how the show maintains originality and style, and it brings even more excitement than any other arc before it.
“Wano” has been heavily desired since the release of “Whole Cake Island” in 2019. From the plot, to the villain, to the fights, the arc is impressive. The main fight in the arc is with a Straw Hat pirate named Luffy who fights one of the strongest villains in the show. The graphics are incredible and it was very intense. It just made the whole show so much better. “Wano” has also brought old characters from previous arcs such asr Foxfire Kin’emon from “Punk Hazard.” The Straw Hat pirates befriended him but in the end they went their separate ways. When the Straw Hats went to “Wano,” a location in the series, they saw Foxfire, which was quite a surprise for the fans.
Despite some fans being sad that the Straw Hats’ adventure is coming to an end, many of the fans will be relieved that they will no longer spend so much time binge watching the show.
The next arc “EggHead” will be released in mid-2024 and will definitely be a great arc but it is unlikely that it is better than “Wano” because that arc was definitely special. Overall, “Wano” is the best arc out of all of “One Piece” and it contributes to the show being possibly my favorite anime ever made.
