Boys Lacrosse Downs Loudoun Valley, 12-8
After dismantling Lightridge High School 17-0, the boys lacrosse team kept their momentum going with a 12-8 victory against Loudoun Valley. This contest was much more competitive than those prior, but the team was able to prevail at home, extending their record to 2-0 to start this season. The attack was led by senior Reece Kuhns, who tallied four goals. In reflection of the game Kuhns stated, “I think we played super gritty and played well as a team. We’re continuing to get better every game and to improve our chemistry.” With the season still young, when questioned about his role on the team, Kuhns responded, “I think I have a big role in being a good model for other players, but at the end of the day, we all have to do our job.” Next, the team travels to Heritage on Wednesday, looking to improve their record to 3-0.
