As a flurry of Christmas items enter the menu, Starbucks is taking on the holiday season with hints of peppermint and gingerbread. Four new Christmas drinks and a handful of items from the bakery entered the menu on Nov. 6, 2025. Every new feature has a blend of flavors that people wait months for.
Whether it’s a Sugar Cookie Latte or an Iced Gingerbread Chai, there is a drink for everyone. The Peppermint Mocha is another fan favorite that leaves people craving more. However, some students don’t appreciate the new drinks, “the caramel brulee… that one was awful,” comments a Starbucks regular, Sophomore Liam Kozonecki. Kozonecki claims some of the drinks are terrible and way too sweet. Every drink can be customized to the customer's liking, as well as sold either iced or hot. Four Christmas cold foams to match each drink are also available for an extra ounce of flavor.
With notes of sweet cranberry, a classic Christmas fruit, the Cranberry Bliss Bar has taken its spot on the menu. Another returning favorite from last season is the Sugar Plum Cheese Danish. The cream cheese filling topped with sugary Plum creates an exceptional Danish that buyers are sure to love. Two new Christmas cakepops, a polar bear and a snowman, are as good as they look. The newest addition to the menu is the Cinnamon Pull-Aparts. This bakery item is deliciously put together with cinnamon and sugar. Overall, the offered cuisine is setting the mood for this holiday season.
In addition to the menu, buyers get seasonal festive Christmas cups. Iced beverages are served in disposable “Merry Apron String” cups in either green or red. For hot drinks, customers are served Coffeehouse Plaid cups, again, in either green or red. Red cup day took place on Nov. 13, 2025. This day allows customers to be served with reusable Christmas cups for no extra charge. Red cup day attracts more buyers than usual, leading to more sales.
Instagram, TikTok and many other social media platforms are exploding with drink reviews and food tastings. The virality of the menu is spiraling, and many customers who are accustomed to the normal menu are now branching out to try these holiday favorites. Swing by Starbucks to pick out a handcrafted holiday special and have a taste of Christmas.
