“Invincible” is currently running on its fourth season, which dropped on March 18, 2026. The show picks up where season three left off, following the protagonist, Mark, as he recovers from his fight against Conquest. However, when a new threat, Thragg, soon arrives, Mark is forced to face one of his toughest enemies yet. So far, every episode of the show has delivered intense scenes, great combat, and an amazing plot. The plot features many dynamic side stories that intertwine and connect.
The art style and animation remain unique and outstanding in quality, despite not being smooth. Season four truly stands out from the others because of its storytelling and how dark it gets. The plot also features some forgotten characters, drawing the audience in even more.
“Invincible” has a strong three-episode opening, but its fourth episode is a bit boring. Featuring a whole new plot, it doesn’t feel like it fits the overall season; however, it does, in return, show more amazing fights and crazy background scenery. Whenever a fight happens, the only thing expected is brutal punches and kicks, yet the bloodshed in “Invincible” reached new heights. While it can still be very brutal, it is unique and unexpected.
In every fight, the soundtrack really shines, with chaotic music and suspenseful scenes. Every fight reaches new heights as the music explodes into absolute chaos and dread. The show gets a bit dark with some characters, and it feels slightly more mature than previous seasons. While every season of “Invincible” is dark in its own way, this one stands out as being one of the darkest seasons so far.
Overall, “Invincible” season four is off to a great start. If its first four episodes are any indication, the rest of the season might just shape out to be the best one yet.
