“My Fault: London” is a new movie released on Feb. 13, 2025, available on Prime Video. It was based on the book, “My Fault”, written by Mercedes Ron. The film follows the story of an 18-year-old girl, Noah, who recently moves to London due to her mother’s marriage to a British man. As Noah finds her way around her new city, she faces many new challenges and a new love interest, her step-brother, Nick. The movie is a sweet, yet intense story.
The actors were cast perfectly for their roles. Asha Banks, who plays Noah Morgan, makes the character so loveable. She portrays Noah’s emotions well and she’s overall a fascinating character to follow throughout the two-hour movie. Matthew Broome, who stars as Nick Leister, gives Nick a flirty personality and is a very diverse character, with many different activities that he participates in, such as fighting and racing. He also has a soft side, which he shows towards his loved ones. The side characters, such as Jenna, played by Enva Lewis, Noah’s best friend, fit in well with the plot and are introduced at the right times. Jenna is introduced as someone who seems hostile at the beginning of the movie and later grows to be a very kind soul who is always willing to help.
However, aside from the lighthearted parts of the movie, the story got dark at some points, such as when Ronnie kidnapped Noah. Actor Sam Buchanan, who stars as Ronnie, one of the main antagonists, is an excellent example of someone who can create intense suspense and interest throughout the movie.
The movie quality was a considerable step up from the previous “Culpa Mia.” The scene was a huge step up, as well. The movie was shot in London, England, and featured many recognizable spots. With the scenery being so well done, the soundtrack fits perfectly. The movie’s music fits very well with the whole film’s plot. Artists such as Charli XCX and Lily Allen are featured on this soundtrack. They help put the entire movie together with the songs that they have produced. One song that was featured in the trailer of “My Fault: London” was “Von Dutch” by Charli XCX.
“My Fault: London” was a big hit and was a very good follow-up to the story by Mercedes Ron.
