International pop sensation, Ariana Grande, has recently announced her upcoming tour, scheduled for the summer of 2026. Grande’s most recent VMA-winning album, “Eternal Sunshine,” was released on March 8, 2024, and has just been scheduled for a tour. This new announcement has caused numerous problems, including issues with third-party sellers and other sellers who intend to raise prices.
Millions of fans worldwide have been on the hunt for tickets, and it has recently been revealed that almost 144,000 fans were in the Boston, Mass., ticket queue, anxiously waiting for the available tickets. One of the main reasons these tickets are being snapped up so quickly is that Ariana Grande has not been on tour since 2019. Her last album before “Eternal Sunshine” was “Sweteener,” released in 2018.
The tour is set to take place from June 6, 2026, to Aug. 23, 2026. Grande’s first scheduled destination is Oakland, Calif., with stops in Texas, Illinois, New York, and Georgia. The final stop on her tour is planned in London, UK, on Aug. 23.
The presale tickets for the tour went on sale on Sept. 9, 2025, and things went downhill from there. Tickets were snatched up by third-party retailers and sold for almost double the price, totaling $8,000. Four days later, Grande addressed the issue formally, via Instagram stories. Grande writes, “…I wanted to let you know that what’s been happening with the secondary ticket resellers has been brought to my attention and of course I am incredibly bothered by it.”
This Instagram story was viewed by millions of fans and supporters and truly resonated with them. Though the issue has not yet been resolved, Grande and her team have been hard at work. Grande states that they have been trying to “Get more of these tickets into your hands instead of theirs.” She closed off the heartfelt message by stating that she does know what is going on is wrong, and that she and her team are constantly putting effort into this cause.
While many fans count down the days until the start of Grande’s highly anticipated “Eternal Sunshine” tour, her team puts forth a full effort to get the tickets into the rightful hands of fans. The summer of 2026 will be a season packed full of events that countless fans will never forget.
