Kobe Link has been playing football for 10 years, this is his final year here at Fauquier High school.
Q: “How long have you been playing this sport for?”
A: “I’ve been watching football since I was 2 years old, and, finally, when I was in 4th grade, my Mom let me play. It was more exciting than I had thought.”
Q: “What keeps on pushing you to continue playing?”
A: “I love this sport. There is so much passion within the sport.”
Q: “Why did you join the FHS Team?”
A: “I’ve been playing all my life, something I always wanted to do, and love to do, so I have decided to play for Fauquier.”
Q: “Have you ever competed vs one of the best teams in your league?”
A: “We went against Kettle Run and won, and they’re the second best team in the State.”
Q: “Have you ever been to a professional game?”
A: “I went to a Pittsburgh Steelers game, and they played the Jets and won!”
Q: “Who has been your favorite coach?”
A: “My favorite coach was Coach Hoffman because of his mentality for the sport.”
Q: “Which was your best moment while playing the sport?”
A: “My best moment was when I was in 7th grade, when my little league team had won the championship.”
Q: “What moment would you put on your highlights if you had highlights?”
A: “When we were in my Freshman year we actually beat Liberty. It was an exciting moment.”
Q: “What are your plans with this sport once you’re done with high school?”
A: “Once I’m done with high school, I’m done with the sport. I never planned to continue playing it in highschool. As much as I love football, It isn’t my favorite sport. I like lacrosse more than football and want to play that after highschool.”
Q: “What were the best moments while playing football?”
A: “Beating Liberty while I was in my freshman year.”
